The Trust is committed to providing high quality experiences that help change the lives of people. With over 40 years experience to call on, the Trust recognised the need for a small centre providing something a little special.
The Shining Cliff experience is certainly unique. Starting with a 10-minute walk into the heart of the ancient woodland, you get a real feeling of tranquillity and excitement. We believe that the location and standard of facilities play an important role in helping young people feel comfortable and relaxed and in a state of mind to reflect and develop.
With its own crags, streams, lakes and over 100-acres of mature woodland, Shining Cliff has everything on its doorstep. We take advantage of this special environment with many of our programmes based in the woodland itself.
The centre sleeps up to 20 people in 5 comfortable rooms; there is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, dining area, lounge and three composting toilets and solar powered showers.
