In addition to bedrooms, the Centre has a number of communal areas including a games room (with table tennis, a pool table and table football) a lounge with TV, DVD and karaoke machine.
There are a number of conference / training rooms of varying sizes available all with flip chart and OHP projection. Digital projection facilities are available on request. The majority of the site has free wireless internet access.
The Centre also has a number of digital cameras for groups to use as part of their training course and a computer suite where groups can produce presentations and reports about their experiences.
When groups are in residence at the Centre, there is a ‘Duty’ person available 1900-0800. Their role is to ensure our guests have everything they need and that the Centre is secure.
Outside, the Centre is set on a 7-acre site so there is plenty of recreational space either for team games or quite reflection. There are a couple of small wildlife ponds and a larger lagoon available for water activities without the need to travel off-site. There is dedicated Quiet Room available that is often used for prayer primarily by Muslim visitors, though is open to all.
There is a licensed bar and a small ‘tuck’ shop available by prior arrangement. |
